Dr. Tania Otero
Dr. Tania Otero attended Rutgers University and received her B.S. degree in Animal Science in 1995 and her M.S. degree in 1997. Following her studies at Rutgers, she was admitted to the Royal Veterinary College at the University of London in 1997 and was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
A member of the Welfare Committee of the New Jersey Veterinary Foundation, Dr. Otero enjoys practicing internal medicine as well as emergency and critical care on dogs and cats. She also has an interest in pocket pets. She has been an associate veterinarian at the Plainfield Animal Hospital since her graduation in 2002.
Dr. Otero's hobbies and outside interests include camping, hiking, traveling and theatre. She particularly enjoys the time she gets to spend with her pets. Her pets include a dog name Negrita (a.k.a. Muppet), three cats named Tarzan, Mama Kitty and Baby Kitty, a hamster named Buttercup, and a fish named Guapo.
